Birmingham Half Marathon - Race against climate change

Charities

As the Birmingham Half Marathon continues to grow each year, the organising committee is making amendments to the charities’ involvement for this year’s event.

For the 2011 Birmingham Half Marathon we are offering an open invite to all charities to become involved in making the event the most successful yet. To become a charity for this year’s event there are a set of criteria that charities must adhere to. All charities will then be assessed by these criteria and the five best performing organisations will be the charities for the 2012 Birmingham Half Marathon.

All charities and organisations that want to be a part of this year’s event should fill in the form below. Please be aware that there will also be information about your involvement and contribution to the 2011 Birmingham Half Marathon that you will need to submit after the race in order that the organising committee can make the decision for the 2012 event. This information will be:

  • Number of runners entered from the charity and details of those runners
  • Value of sponsorship raised
  • Breakdown of sponsorship money raised i.e. how much is spent locally and how much nationally
