100 day to go to EDF Energy Birmingham Half Marathon
Friday 18 July marks 100 days to go until the first ever EDF Energy Birmingham Half Marathon. The event, which is also known as the Race Against Climate Change will be held on Sunday 26 October.
The EDF Energy Birmingham Half Marathon was launched by Denise Lewis, Nell McAndrew and Blind Dave just over a month ago and so far more than 3,500 people have already signed up to be part of the inaugural event.
As well as signing up for the event, many runners have been pledging their support for the 2012 Carbon Challenge and committing to reduce their personal carbon footprints by a tonne.
